I am currently working on a new 16" Rock River Arms middy upper build and the last thing i need is to choose some kind of muzzle device. I researching muzzle devices i stumbled upon the YHM Phantom Compensator (model 5M1 and 5M2) . At the price point it seems like a good deal. So do any of Y'all have experience with it? Does it work good? and finally would a Gemtech Halo work with it?

| It really is not a "compensater". It really is just a flash hider with no slot in the bottom so that you don't kick up dust when prone. That being said it is an excellent flash hider and should work with the suppressor. I have one waiting for a barrel to install on my new build. |
