I need to get one for a 5.56, what should I look at? I know JP is good but is there any other low profile blocks I should look at?

Check these out. http://www.syracordnance.com/ No need for loctite and adjustable from the front. It has worked out well for me.

Precision Reflex has a cost effective. adj. gas block.

VERY small as well !
