For post 3000 i figured i'd post my $3,000 setup. I always wanted the rifle but never could order it before they were out of stock. haven't had time to shoot it yet but will next week. It's a noveske project ares built by omni if i remember correctly. The stainless barrel is kg coated black. It has a 2moa t1 in a lt660 mount on it for now until i can find a 1-5/6x optic that i like. i also cant decide which light i want. Might go with the x300 ultra.

It is built in house by Noveske Rifleworks, you have a complete factory weapon, and a very nice one at that.

Hmmm. I read somewhere they were built by someplace in Dallas. I guess the certificate of authenticity should have been a clue. All my noveskes have been of superb quality and I expect no different with this one. I also have a KAC handstop coming my way next week.

If you find the link please post it, I would be real curious to know who was claiming to be building the weapons for Noveske.  Especially when other dealers/ distributors buy them from Noveske....

I bought it from rainier. When I was researching reviews on it someone on another site had said it. Since its never on noveskes website I figured it could be true. Is it possible to switch the URX II to the URX 3.1 or does it use another barrel nut?
