I'm trying to figure out the year of manufacture on a Colt AR.

Based on THIS page, when would an AR with a serial number of "ST 002903", have been made?

definitely a pre ban by the chart.

Thanks guys.

I'm not overly concerned with age, I was more concerned with trying to read that chart.

The date stopped at '78, and I wasn't sure how the rest of the list worked.

If I had to guess I'd say the chart read it as a 1965.

Early 90s. I've owned three of that model in the same serial no. range; still have one of them. They are preban. The ones I owned were all A2-style lowers with fences, standard FCG pins, large pivot pins and no sear blocks.
