Almost a year ago I purchased a stripped lower to put away until I had enough money to start a build. At the time that I received the lower, it appeared to be all good but unfortunately due to my ignorance  and inexperience i missed that the hole for my safety/selector detent was drilled too shallow. When installed, the detent protrudes from the bottom of the receiver about .1875". The hole does not continue in to the selector hole on the right side of the receiver and it cannot contact the selector lever/ detent groove whatsoever. I am at a standstill on my build. It's not an emergency but it is an annoyance. I have contacted the manufacturer and a reply is pending. I will not disclose the vendor's identity at this time. I have every expectation that the vendor will make it right but i am checking to see if there is some place i can find the proper depth measurement to continue drilling this hole if the Vendor tells me to kick rocks.

Any help info would be awesome.

May be a tiny bit of metal that needs to be pushed out by hand turning a correct sized drill bit.
Come in from the bottom of the receiver, up and towards the top.

The hole may not have been finished 100% and sounds like an easy fix.

Are you installing with the trigger group already in place? What type of LPK do you have? Can you please post a pic.
