Found a 6520 16" pencil barrel A2 Colt for $950, 99% condition. Gov't model markings, collapsible stock, bayonet lug, original hand guard, fixed carry handle, clean, no marks. Bargain or so-so? Thanks

Sounds like a 6520. Check the serial list to see if it's a preban, which will be worth even more if you sold it to someone in a ban state.
If it's pretty cherry, then that's a very good price for a 6520.
