| I recently aquired my first AR15 through a trade. I picked up a S&W M&P-15 Sport, brand new, never fired, in the box. I'm a handgun collector and don't know alot about AR's and stumbled across this forum while searching parts and I'm glad I did. I'm not crazy about the stripped down upper on the M&P which has no forward assist or dust cover so I just ordered parts for an upper build through Bravo Co. and JSE Surplus. A BCM upper, and a 14.5" M4 profile barrel and flash hider from JSE. I plan on using the S&W bolt carrier assembly. If anyone has any adivce in regards to this build, I would apprecieate it. I have searched this forum for the past week and I am now 1000% more knowledgable than I was when I started, so I thank you all. |
