Rifle 1: Sig 516 patrol Rifle- If Im not mistaken, this is a piston driven system. Ive never owned a piston rifle, so Im kinda on the fence with this one. I know their handguns are of good quality, but have not heard much on their rifles.
-or- Rifle 2: Black Rain Fallout 15. Good looking rifle, but have not heard much about them. As far as use goes, it will probably see quite a bit of range time, as well as being a hog gun, and maybe even a little competition shooting. Would you recommend one over the other? Why? |

Not anymore on the larue. As of July 1, they raised all of their prices a couple hundred dollars. See if they can order you another rifle that is under 1k. No need to drop that kind of money on a rifle to get good quality. Get that M&P and you will do just fine with it. That is a heck of a rifle. |

Or a colt or a stag or a windom and others I'm sure for 1100 or less. You don't have to limit yourself to whatever your LGS has in stock. There are plenty of quality manufacturer's out there that can ship to any FFL. DD, LMT, BCM, PSA, and Spike's are a few more names to throw out there in that price range. |
