Is it possible to use the JPGS-2B gas block with rifle-length gas systems? Im asking because on the package is written carbine and short barrel applications. Does it mean only for carbine gas systems or for carbine gas systems, too?

Gas block doesn't know which gas system length is being used, they are just counting on the carbine and shorter stuff being over gassed where most of the rifle stuff is usually good to go.

It isn't uncommon to see them on rifle-length systems. I am using one, myself.
