Nice flip flops and rifle! MIght bring the EOTech back a little bit on the flattop. I had the G23 right on the BUIS on my Les and will do the same with this one. The 511 is tough because it makes it hard to get to the buttons even when FTS. Still have some furniture to add but wanted to get the gist out when I finished the build. |

Good lookin gun! I see you're rocking the Di-optic rear BUIS, I have one of those on mine also. I really like the diamond-shaped aperture, how do you like yours?
Glad to hear about the Battlecomp also, I was hoping you didn't have to take that back yet again! |

Very pricey first build. Looks like you read a bunch of threads and bought the most expensive parts. Don't forget ammo. Not quite the most expensive....... But close. It's my first complete build but not rifle. I spent a lot of time researching and/or testing each part before deciding. My over all goal was to piece meal every detail over time to get "my dream build". No corners. So far, I'm very happy. |

Glad to hear about the Battlecomp also, I was hoping you didn't have to take that back yet again! 400 rounds and so far, flawless. I started with a 2-3 o'clock ejection that seems to have self corrected to 4ish. The BC is a little loud for CQ range time but doesn't bother me, lol. My original choices were the Krink, Claymore, or Battlecomp 1.5. The shorter heavier Afghan makes up for the longer Lightweight in climb, IMO. Nice re-acquisition speed and amazingly fast trigger. Almost feels like a toy. Well, I guess it is a toy. The DOA is great in low light (Tritium), and good overall so far. K9 Barricade came in today. Can't think of anything else I could need right this second. |
