I've got an M&P 15 ORC rifle.  thinking of replacing the fron sight/gas block with a FSB fixed sight. $30 for the part online, my LGS is stating $50 for labor. How's that sound?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I'm seeing $45 just for a gunsmith to take a look at anything these days. So, $50 labor isn't bad at all.
