| Is there even a shortage of barrel nuts now? I used to see them in the EE all the time and now that I need one I have been watching the EE regularly and can't locate one. I have even resorted to posting a WTB for one. A fine member here, Rooste283 came to my rescue for a take down spring and sling swivel that I needed to complete my latest build but I have not been able to come up with the last item I need, a plain old barrel nut. The Citizens Armory does not list them on thier website and I hate to pay more in shipping than the cost of the item from other vendors. Anyone know of a source that would have one, new or used, and does not charge an arm and a leg for shipping?...Thanks....<><....:) |

Thanks guys, I do believe I am all set. I am considering the $60 barrel offered above nut since I have been assured it's top tier and made by the latest "fad" company.
Unfortunately, I live in eastern MA and we don't have gun/fun shows here. Also, there are very few gun shops on Cape Cod (2?) and none carry AR parts. It's very difficult living among politically correct, left wing, liberal (socialist/marxist) gun hating people.....<><....:) Ctran555, I am thinking about your kind offer of the $60 barrel nut and will let you know if I decide to purchase it. Also, I have been to Texas and have hunted there. It was refreshing to be in a place where guns and gun ownership were not frowned upon and the Second Amendment was respected. I read with envy of members here going to gun/fun shows and being able to enjoy their hobby.....<><....:) |
