I just finished assembling the lower.
Slapped the halves together and voila! my first fixed stock AR.

Aero Precision stripped upper
Brand X lower
DPMS LPK with polished sear and setscrew limited travel (surprisingly nice trigger)
Windham Weaponry FA BCG
plain old charging handle (JT/DSC)
20" Wilson air guaged 1:8 stainless barrel (JT/DSC) rifle gas (obviously) glass beaded by me
303 stainless cap for the barrel threads whipped up in the shop and glass beaded (we don't need no steenkeeng flash hider)
DPMS A2 stock kit
JT National Match FF tube H/G

I shot this upper at 100 yards the other day.
Started with a good barrel cleaning then 3 shots followed by 2 swipes with a bore snake.
Repeated this while sighting in the scope.
Once on paper, I put one right in the bullseye, the next shot touched the first.
5 more shots (for 7 total of this group) before it started raining and I packed up.

1.25" group.
WITH WOLF WPA AMMO.

I was astounded.

Can't wait to see how she shoots with Hornady TAP 77 grain.

Hoping to have another sub MOA gun here (the first being the FNAR I bought at a show last weekend).

El,
Brand X came from my garage shop via an 80% lower from tacticalmachining.com. If there is in fact a brand named Brand X then mine is Brand <some unused letter>.

80% lower

Smith,
It's true, every time I try to clean it up it looks like this again inside 2 weeks. Still, I know right where everything is. Mostly.
