I just bought a BCM complete upper, along with it i ordered the BCM auto bcg. Can i assume that they are already headspaced properly or should i still check the headspacing before i fire the rifle for the first time?
-Sorry if this is a noob question.

What he said. I sent them an email asking about their upper and BCG's. As long as it's all BCM they say it's headspaced.

I'd check, but I own the guage. Odds are near perfect everything will be a ok.

Your odds of winning the lottery is much greater than finding a BCM upper or BCM BCG out of headspace specs.

Even old mil surp uppers with excessive usage rarely get worn to out of headspace specs. Bolts get broken long before they get worn out of headspace spec.

Manufacturers that make out of spec components don't last long. Except Hesse/Vulcan/Blackthorne.

Up to you. I got my BCM Upper last week and BCM BCG. I figured I would buy a field headspace gauge and check for sanitys sake. Useful tool but like the other said, It's probably not needed
