I'm still trying to figure how to get a pic up from photbucket. I retired a couple of weeks ago and buitl a gun for 3 gun. It's an 18" medium contour, 1 in 8, polygonal bore barrel that I bought new a while back and wasn't sure where to use it but this seemed perfect. Mega Machine billet upper and lower, CMC single stage trigger, BADASS ST ambi safety, and 13" Troy Alpha rail. Have an Eotech 2-0 on it. It came out great, very light, and shoots well.
The bizarre part of the build is the gas length. The barrel was shipped with a Noveske intermediate tube but I found that it was very slightly too long. This gas length is a different intermediate, about 1 inch longer than midlength. I fabricated a tube from a rifle tube and it runs great.

I know, pics, but I'm as challenged as they come.

I know there's no front sight but it's coming. I hate muzzle brakes but I put an AAC brakeout on for 3 gun and quiet option other times. The rifle came out light and is very accurate w 75 grain Hornady steel. I've only got a couple of magazines through it but so far it's turned out better than I had hoped.

Looks great.  Weird about the gas tube though....

looks good!  I tried out my AAC 51T muzzle brake mount today for the first time and Im very satisfied with it. It is really loud but the muzzle rise is just about non existent. Im still waiting on my M4-2000 so for the next few months Ill be running the brake only.
