| Anybody have any experience with Templar Tactical. Noticed they have their receivers and receiver combos on sale.? |
|
No! But I live in the town on the other side of the mountain from them. Thought it would be a good idea if Im doing a build to at least ask around. Here is the link to there "Spring Sale" receivers. http://www.templartacticalarms.com/ Dont know much other than that.
|
| Well actually Im not. And I didnt post them for their benefit. Just made sense to ask around since there company is right over the hill. Thanks for those that didnt make assumptions, and actually posted to help me out. Especially thanks to the one that recommended Rainier Arms. Spent most of the afternoon checking out different parts ect..... for those that assumed I had a different motive. Shame on you for attacking the newb. So FUCK OFF if that was you. Now that being said Im open to any help to building a gun. Ive only bought complete guns before and own them to shoot the piss out of them. Im not a "Smith" I spend my time shooting not fondling. Cheers |
| I almost bought some of their forged lowers a while back for like $65 each and heard about them on a forum dedicated to 6.5 Grendel builds, where they have a pretty good following. I would buy them at $65 in a second, but the prices listed on their site now for the new receivers are completely out of line. I can honestly say that I have no interest in buying their products now. I think that Rainier is going to start carrying their handguards though..... |

| Starting to put a build together now but. I just checked out Rainier Arms Urban Carbine RUCâ„¢ - 16 and am wondering if I should even bother trying to put one together. Its basically what I wanted to build. Expect I was thinking about a stainless Noveske Afghan 14 1/2" barrel. But I could probably live with Rainiers build. Been shooting the hell out of an ACR and really love it cause that bastard will take a beating but I want to have a lighter faster gun. |
