I'd like a comparison of both the PWS FC556 and DynaComp.

Looking for info on recoil reduction, noise, and muzzle flash.

Does anyone have experience with these?

I have them both. I prefer the FSC556 over the Dynacomp. Both seem to control muzzle flip well but the Dynacomp pushes back a little harder. Kind of a nuisance when using a scope.

I've tried a Dynacomp, worked great.
Not extremely loud.
Can't go wrong with it, if that's what you want.

are you noticing muzzle flash when looking through your optic with the dynacomp

I've run both, and I prefer the PWS more.

Better recoil and muzzle flip control. As previously said the dynacomp "pushes" harder, kinda hard to explain in my experiences with it.

The PWS is louder, but ear pro negates that. Fireballs are about the same with both, and only really noticeable when watching someone else shoot. Never had a problem with them obscuring sight picture while behind the gun.

YMMV

I've had a few PWS brakes but haven't tried the dynacomp.  Best thing I've used and still do is the Battlecomp...a little more money but hands down the best brake I've used overall.  PWS reduces recoil slightly more but the headache at the end of the day from the concussion isn't worth the trade.  The dynacomp is very affordable.  If it preforms as well as a battlecomp, it's a bargain.

I have 2 of each: Dynacomp on 11.5 & 14.5"Mid, PWS on 14.5"Car & 16"Mid. Unfortunately they're all different so it's tough to say one perform better than the other but I'm going to say that the PWS is slightly more effective but louder too. I'm beginning to like my 14.5"Mid better than my 14.5"Car but I think Mid vs Car plays a role there as well. Initially I liked the Dynacomp better but it's tough to go wrong with either, honestly.

I did a very basic video a while back.

was the last gun a 14.5" mid-length with a dynacomp?

I've never seen muzzle flash through my optic using the Dynacomp. That will depend on your barrel length and the burn rate of your powder.

Plenty of experience and it works exactly as advertised. It's an outstanding compensator - I'm biased though:
