I run a Daniel Defense T2 tungsten powder filled 4.3 oz. (essencially it's a Spike's) in my M4 and it runs just fine. What you can expect with running a bit heavier then stock buffer is a bit of a slower cyclic rate which translates into a little softer recoil. Add a compensator and you'll have a smooth shooter that stays right on target when you shoot.
