Let me modify my question. I'm always reading on this forum about the great deals on 6920's, and how they are under $1 k. So, where? DSG and G&R Tactical to name a couple. I believe that both of them may be out of stock now, but if you look around a little they can be found. They shouldn't be out of stock for long. Colt makes more of them every day. |
| My dept just ordered 13 new LE6920's to add to our armory. Ordered them on state bid (NY) through AMCHAR and got them for $822 apiece. That's state bid price, so only open to NY law enforcment. From the little I know, AMCHAR is one of the only dealers in NY that can sell Colt on state bid price. |

Check Walmart. Serious....check. This. If you have a Sporting Goods section in your Walmart that stocks firearms, they can order the 6920 for you. I just called the only wal-mart within 40 miles of me that even has guns. I was checking since I've seen some posts on here of Walmart carrying ARs in the store. They said while they don't stock them, they can special order them. The employee I talked to also said they never plan on stocking any ARs at their location . Nither of the damn stores near me even sell guns...of any kind. Not even muzzle loaders anymore, and ammo selection is pathetic at best |
| But I do have a question. Haven't had a chance to actual fire off any rounds yet but when i was fooling with it the other day, I was manually cycling rounds into the chamber by pulling and releasing the charging handle rapidly. It felt as though the action was slightly grainy and the bolt actually got hung a couple of times with the round get caught on an angle. My Del-Ton seems significant smoother. Any cause for worry? I know actual live fire usually changes everything. Probably gets smoother as ya send more rounds down range. |

http://www.ratworxusa.com/pagDetail.aspx?SKU=RW-Colt-SP-6920-MP 6920 with MOE gear for 1060$ I don't see Ratworx listed in the industry area, anyone vouch for them? They are great folks, and there is almost always someone there to answer the phone. They have over 2600 positive posts on their gunbroker feedback. |

My advice is to at least take the firing pin out when you are chambering LIVE rounds over and over. |
