Who makes a good 18" spr upper that is capable of sub-moa without spending too much?

What is too much?

And Bravo Company.

Dont want to spend more than $650-700 for the upper

That will buy you maybe a barrel and a handguard.

Good luck.

I would personally save up and at least buy a quality barrel and buy other other parts as funds allow. My choices for the barrel in no particular order would be.

Your budget will be hard to adhere to, but check out a larue stealth.

Ok lets try this again. How much is it going to cost me to get into a decent spr upper?

About a grand.

You can buy a white oak armament 18" spr barrel, a PSA BCG and upper and a simple free float tube for $750ish

It is too new for there to be too many range reports on it, but based on Lothar Walther barrels reputation this should easily be sub MOA

Wilson Combat Match Grade 18" barrel - http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Wilson-Combat-Match-Grade-Barrel-556-NATO-Special-Purpose-Rifle-18-1-7-Twist-Chromoly-Chrome-Lined/productinfo/TR-556SPR18 - $250.00

Rainier Upper - http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2972 - $70.00

All you need now is the small parts to put upper together and a BCG and charging handle. Should be a pretty nice shooter. Oh yea, and a rail of some sorts.

This is basically what my next project will be.

Is the wilson barrel stainless or chromoly kind of confusing the way it reads

Are you just referring to a non-specific Special purpose Rifle upper....or a MK12 Mod. O or 1 specifically?

You can build/buy a NICE 18" barreled complete SPR "style" upper with a good FF tube for less than $1000. A true MK12 mod O or Mod 1....not so much.

it's a matte parkerized 4140 Chromoly with a chrome lined chamber and bore. Do not believe it has the "seat" for the Ops. 12th Collar on it.
Wilson Combat 18" match SPR

OP never mention a MK12 MOD whatever they are.....the WC barrel and most I believe have to be sent somewhere to have the OPS INC collar added, I could be wrong though.

OP just asked about a SPR in general at a low cost, I gave him some options
