Does anyone have any experience with powder coating a lower, good/ bad idea? Im thinking about it for my next build. the lower will be a forging and is not anodized

Well it would certainly be different.
I am thinking it would need to be anodized first as there are places that need protection, but powder coat would be too thick.

Powder coating is very thick.
You're going to have issues with your pins.
