looking for a FF tube with replaceable rail sections. ive done a lot of reading on the troy, and most people are happy, but some are complaining about lockup issues. supposedly the new alpha version fixed that though. but i came across the DD MFR12. not many people seem to be using it. the length is perfect for what i want, and its pretty light. just not many reviews. any opinions on it? hows installation? any particular tools needed? any pics of setups are appreciated as well.

I have one and I like it a lot.

I can't speak about the installation or any particular tools needed because it came installed on my DD M4V7. I do like the modular rail system, it works perfect. I also like how thin and light it is. I will say that mine is just off center a little bit from the factory. I can tell that my front sight post is not at perfect 12 o'clock, but only when I look through my EOTech with both sights up. That is the only time I can notice it and I use the EOTech w/out the sights 99% of the time anyway.

If I needed another FF tube I'd get a DD MFR.

(I do wish that DD made a 15" version.)
