| I have a RRA 2-stage NM trigger in my carbine and am looking for a similar setup with a HEAVIER trigger pull. as the RRA is far to light for duty use. I've heard of Geissele, but never seen one up close. Any suggestions? Is there a way to bump up the spring power in the RRA? |

For duty use, you need the Geissele SSA (SOCOM Approved). It will be the best $170 you will spend for your duty gun. It is a bit heavier than the RRA, but a bit crisper as well. The RRA's are good units, but tend to wear out around 4000 rounds, and become a gritty, crappy single stage. You can up the spring tensions on the RRA, but will cause it to wear faster. |

Check out the ArmaLite tactical two stage trigger. It has an adjustable disco spring that allows .5 lb adjustments with three positions.
I've changed all my RRA triggers to the ArmaLite two stage. The NM two stage is a different trigger shape with the same type of adjustable disco. Read TECHNICAL NOTE 78: The ArmaLite two stage feels as good as any Geissele two stage I have shot. |
