I wanted to make sure I got a quality optic that would last me a long time. I was torn between the ACOG, and Aimpoint, but ended up going with the ACOG for many reasons. For one, I like the delta reticule, as well as having the magnification. I also knew that I would probably end up buying one anyways, so I said, what the hell. |

Finally got to shoot it with my SPR/M4. Quieter? For sure! Dirtier? Definitely! The gas blowback in my face was almost unbearable. I will be getting a gas buster charging handle soon. I bore scoped the insides once I got done shooting and there were no internal baffle strikes, but I did notice a small endcap strike. Not sure if this is normal or not, but I installed the flash hider as the manual stated, no crush washer or anything, put some Rockset on it, and torqued it to spec.
