long time AK guy here....havent been into AR's since the 1980's. so now I am trying to build my son an AR for Christmas, and all the new manufactures are so overwhelming.
I am on a limited budget, I have the complete lower, upper receiver. I still need a barrell assembly and BCG . chrome lined is not important which manufactures should I stay away from? which are the best? sorry about the questions but it seems like EVERYONE is manufacturing AR parts these days.
