Thanks guys! I'll be sure to post some better quality photos when I get a chance.

I had 0 experience working on AR's before yesterday, so I'm damn proud of myself for being able to put the lower together/take the hand guard-gas block apart/cut the FSB down to size/and get the VTAC on right. Feels good.

I plan on buying another PSA upper at some point. Shoots beautifully.

Nice build.

I suggest trying a red dot.  If you don't want to get into big money, a Primary Arms clone is a nice way to try one without breaking the bank.  Or, pick up a Vortex Strikefire for about $150.

The difference in target acquisition times is HUGE between irons and a red dot, I consider a red dot pretty much mandatory on any home/self defense carbine.

(Just personal opinion, I love irons but the difference is night and day, and two eyes open shooting is really a big plus).

And so it begins, the incurable BRD.   Looks good.

Thanks guys. It's an absolute blast to shoot. I can't believe I went so long without buying one.
