A whie back there was a thread that discussed the pros and cons of different hammer profiles. The thread had a post with drawings of 6-8 hammer profiles side by side. I have tried the search function and have manually scanned several threads but have been unable to locate it. Can anyone help point me to ths thread.
Also a question about the disconnector spring. Does the wide end fit into the trigger base or does it point upwards towards the disconnector? |

Thanks, I thought the wide end was down, but had a brain fart and couldn't remeber for sure.
The reason for the hammer ident questoin is that I am putting together a new build and I'm using a STAG M16 full shrouded bolt carrier. I have two trigger assemblies I can use, One has a straight face hammer and the other has a stepped face hammer. I'm trying to determine which one is best to use. |
