Which retainer do you need to run MOE handguards??? Round or triangle?? The piece right behind the FSB

They will fit either. However, all carbines(gas system) use round handguard caps. Midlength, and rifle (gas systems) use the triangle. UNLESS its a DOI

Either will work. If it doesn't, you have them upside down.

Good to know.. I have a delta ring assembly and the cap on the end I pulled from another build to install a samson evolution. Glad I did not cut the delta like some do.. Thanks for the replys

When? b/c that is the standard in the AR world. No disrespect, I just am curious know.
