Not sure where to post this, but since it uses AR-15 parts I figure I'd ask it here.
I have a PSE TAC 10i crossbow that uses an AR-15 trigger. In order to cock the trigger you manually crank the bow string back which sets the trigger. It would be basically like shooting an AR like a single shot where you have to manually eject the shell after each shot. The only thing that happens when you pull the trigger is the hamer falls. My question is, Is the discounter needed if only shooting in single shot mode? I am using a JARD single stage trigger and the disconnect screw is getting in my way and limiting my trigger sear adjustment. |

I personally would want to have it. Otherwise if any pressure is on that trigger when you cock the crossbow, it will immediately fire as soon as it is cocked. The disconnector would hold the hammer until the trigger is released and then let the hammer properly reset before firing. |
