Expulsion for surfing the web? Wtf? You shoudn't be surprised. There was a story about a little boy who got in trouble for taking firearms to school. The weapons were the guns of his plastic green army men. Schools have gone full-retard these days. I'm glad Im done with school. |

Wrong Forum Why do you think that? Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken, but this is the AR15 rifle technical discussion board. What we are doing here is discussing a general topic... No shit and did anyone bother to hit the "Report" button? Mine is broke from over use |

no bootcamp no army, just like these fine people that call thier self a Viet Nam vet just because they were in the service during that period, nope dont think so. if you broke the rules which it looks like you did you must pay the piper. QFT..Just like anything in life, there are repercussions for the choices you make whether good or bad..Oh, and IBTL/M |

So is this a DEP program or is this where he goes to boot camp over the summer and is actually in the Army Reserve or National Guard till he graduates? As for your issue, what's the reason they're threatening expulsion, because you were on a weapons forum or because you were surfing the internet in general during school? What's the school's policy on internet usage during school hours? Were you on your own phone or computer or were you using school assets? |
|
How does your contract with the Army have anything to do with your high school obligations? Why would you bring that up when you got in trouble for your refusal to follow the rules? What do you honestly expect to come from this?
Have fun getting smoked if you don't drop the excuses now and start accepting responsibility for your own actions. |

That particular rule is wrong. I didn't say all rules are wrong. Something doesn't add up, and I don't think the rule he is breaking is using the internet at school to be looking at expulsion. Look at 90% of this forum- it is just words on a page. No one would know what "AR15.com" means, beyond the fact that it looks like some Star Wars Imperial fan club to the uneducated. Either there is more going on here, or he was being antagonistic showing off that you can find guns and pictures of dead animals on the internet. Seeing as how he has not made an appearance since this went downhill, I don't think this is a case of "Poor Billy got singled out by anti 2nd amendment hippies" You get suspended for being disruptive and breaking rules, you get expelled for being ridiculously out of line. |

My buddy in middle school (2002) didn't believe me when I told him he could get a real AK47 for cheaper than his airsoft. So, he brought an airsoft catalog the next day and I brought a shotgun news. We were debating this in class when the teacher took away both of our catalogs. |
| IM still baffled that you can be an E3/PFC before graduating basic/ AIT...must be ' new' recruiting ploy... To gain 2 ranks without so much as a pushup or an afternoon on the parade ground, sorta cheapens ita bit for me...I worked my balls off for 16 weeks to get PFC...just saying. |
| Frist off if you didnt go through boot yet, so your far from a e-3, but any way most schools have a filter on their network. So if your school has one and it let you view this site, you in theory didnt break any rules unless theres some where its stated that you cant. Bring that up that and see how it goes. And your school is f**ked up. |
