[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Chrome vs Nickel BCG

Is there a real difference between these?

I have a RRA with the Chromed BCG and cleaning that upper post suppressor shoot is much nicer than a standard BCG.
Thinking about upgrading a future upper to one of these BCG but trying to figure out which one is better (if at all) and why.

From everything I have read cleaning is the same, the new NiB craze has to do with the coating's lubricity proerites, you can run the rifle on the dryer side of things.
