Quoted: Have you taken your bolt and carrier completely out and inspected them thoroughly? I have the same upper and Spikes builds awesome stuff but I won't go near the Tula. Negative. Never taken the bolt and carrier apart. I bought the tula to fuction check. The cheap price seemed like a good idea at the time. |

Quoted: Take a rubber mallet to your forward assist, or do the field stuck bolt drill nd put your upper back on your lower, then try and slam the stock down while push the charging handle out. Make sure the chamber is clear before anything tho. I will have to give this a whirl tomorrow. |

Looks like a piece of your charging handle? Have any other angles? Does anything from the inside ofmthe upper ormthe charging handle look like they're missing a piece? That's definitely his forward assist pawl. Did you happen to notice if any primers in the ammo were coming out? I had a primer come out one time and go into the cam pin hole in the carrier and create havoc for the bcg. |

Just that forward assist piece. |

It somewhat makes sense, if that forward assist piece had broken while firing or from a bad Tula load, it was loose in the FA tube and had pressure on it from the FA spring causing play in the BCGs movement but not letting it come out or go all the way back in. |

Ok, I just did the rubber mallet to the forward assist. It worked and this came out along with my bolt. What is it? http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c272/Scout198575/Guns%20and%20Shit/DSC02039.jpg The rubber mallet may have free'd up the BCG but sheared the forward assist pin at the same time? No worries we will take care of it. |

Another time I had one get caught in the lugs and binded up the whole rifle. I want to reiterate that popped primers are a bitch! |

No worries we will take care of it. It very well could have. If that be the case though, what could have been binding up my bolt to the point where it would only move an inch? And thank you, I will do as you suggest and make a call in the morning. Top notch customer service! Thank you! |
