2 part post, first is, I'm having trouble finding specs on the SU 279 ECOS-O Mk6. Best I can find is that i's a mk6 3-18x44, FFP, with M5C2 knobs, but having trouble finding info on the correct reticle. I'm seeing everything from H59, to tremor 2 or tremor 3, with both illuminated and non illuminated listed for the tremor reticles. I'm guessing the variance is based on what branch purchased it, and wether it was for a 5.56 or 7.62 application, so if anyone has any deeper knowledge, I'm trying to find correct spec for an NSW 5.56 rifle. Any help is appreciated. Second, while more common on the mk18/cqbr, if anyone needs their uppers engraved, just want to pimp out delta Mike Lightworks Not in hand yet but finished photos look spot on Attached File Used a surplus cqbr engraved upper for font and spacing, highly recommended if anyone needs it done Attached File |

Sorry if this was asked recently but wanted to check most updated status of the following being seen on Block II whether nowadays or previously: 1. FNH M4A1 lowers 2. Colt cage code 13629 uppers 3. Govt profile 14.5” Colt barrels on FSP builds (I believe a while back it was mentioned there were some but rare but wasn’t sure if that’s changed) 4. Laser engraved Colt lowers 5. comp m2 still being used 6. Surefire millennium lights 7. Any new guns being issued with DD ris II fsp or non fsp rail now that urgi is out 8. What length m203 bbls were run usually? 9” or 12”? Thanks! |

Any today would be supply replacing a worn out or destroyed weapon 2. Yes, replacement uppers in supply system 3. Yes, I’ve built that comp as some wanted a lighter weapon 4. No, see 1 5. Been used up to late teens 6. In past 7. MARSOC still using them. In Groups support personnel started haven them replace standard M4 MWS/Block I 8. Initially 12” then 9” as supply caught up |

Just wanted to thank you all for posting your photos. I have never wanted to clone anything till recently. I wanted to get a block II built. Should really say it will be more of an inspired by block II. I have the DD ris II in de now. And a spare completed lower. It does look like a lot of mix and match from block 1/1-.5/2 in many photos. |

Final iteration of the A.R.M.S. RIS II submission build. PEQ-15 is fake because I'm not gonna spend $1800 on a real one when I don't have night vision yet, and some parts are modern equivalents just to have it complete and will be replaced with period correct parts when I find them. Parts list:

| Do any of you gents have knowledge on the timelines that the older surefire lights would still have been in use before being phased out with scout models? Were the older models such as m961/2 in the history books before hand? I know procurement of new gear was not very fast. I have a m952v model right now that i found used at my local shop but i really am unsure of if it is really period correct or just a really good condition relic |
