| In your opinion what is the best AR15 for $1500- $2000? The most advanced. The most modern. The fanciest. The most tacticoolest.(No grammer nazis) |

You can NOT buy it, you must build it! Either of these suggestions are the right answer. I am almost considering breaking my own rule about never buying a factory rifle again for a PredatAR. It is almost the perfect rifle to me, sadly i would still have to drop a few more hundreds on it to make it perfect, only thing stopping me. |

I think building your own sums it up best. I own the best AR-15 in the world, there isn't another one in the world that I would trade mine for, and that's the benefit of building your own. If you buy a complete rifle, even the SR-15 that a few people have recommended, you're still getting what the manufacturer thinks is "best."
Not counting the optic, mine is up to about $2200, so I'm just out of your price range. Keep in mind that the SR-15 has proprietary parts. Good luck finding replacements. |

The one you build yourself using all the parts you want, and none you don't Seriously, even if you don't want to mess with putting the upper together yourself, there are several company's that will take your order and put it together for you to your specs. Then choose your lower and LPK and put it all together and you will have armeisterjay's carbine, why settle for something off the shelf. But if you must have a rifle off the shelf then I give a +5 to the KAC SR15 |
