This is the best way to quickly  touch up small scratches on ARs. I use mine often. I have some Aluma Black on the way from Midway and will test it out on an engraving but from what I've been told it's not quick.

very simple. Just dip the end of a q-tip in the bottle, swab it on the blemish and let it dry, then wipe off.

Alumahide Black is the best most durable option

But im cheap and use Krylon ultra-flat black and it has worked just fine for me.

If it's that simple I'll have to try it.

Actual name of the product is Birchwood-Casey Aluminum Black.  I've seen quite a few people that couldn't find it because they were looking for Aluma Black.
