| Since for some reason I didn't have the replacement spring I needed today. In typical fashion I found a temporary replacement. Wasn't sure if this has been posted before. For detent springs. The spring in a Bic lighter can be used. You will have to cut a few coils for it to fit. The elchepo lighter I found first wasn't long enough. The spring I lost was for the safety. Not as stiff as the correct one but good enough to get myself out of a bind till replacements come in. Another spring I have lost and done similar with is the charging handle. The spring out of a click style pen will work for the charging handle. Hope my thinking might help someone out of a bind. |
