Looking for advise on charging handles.... I have an A3 B/M with 1' raised scope rings and with the scope on it makes it difficult to get my large meat hooks in to grab the charging handle, I see that there is alternatives out there for larger handles ,several manufactures, and several sizes , I don't want to have too large of a handle and catch hanging off of my weapon , but I want it to be more easily accesable , any advise?

I was looking at those , but I have no one close by who sells them, and not sure which size would work best. Thanks!

Order directly from em' they are awesome people to deal with. Fast shipping, no hassle.

If the scope is making the operation difficult, get the Mod.3 (Large) flavor of it. I actually use that one even on my Iron sighted SBR's.

Mod.4 (Medium) seems to be the overall pick of the board

Either will make your life easy-er.

for your application id recommend medium or small.....small is bigger still than a normal handle and only requires one finger to charge

BCM GF medium is the best.

I agree with BCM Mod 3 in SBRs. I have the same set up. It's the most convenient of all three models.

I like the Large Mod 3 on rifles with traditional scopes.

The medium Mod 4 works great with Aimpoints and ACOGs..

I have the mod 4 (medium) which I use with my red dot optics, there was a poll here in the past that shown it is the most popular model maybe because most members here are using red dot sights.

If you read the Bravo customer reviews of the mod 3 (large) they usually prefer to use them with their large size scopes.

I sometimes get pinched by the BCM charging handle. LMT makes a great charging handle without any room for pinching. If you have the opportunity, check them out.

I like the medium BCM GF CH. If the handle were any larger, I feel like it would poke in to my body more while slung across my torso.

I pinched my finger the first time I used it, but learned pretty quickly the correct way to cycle the weapon with that particular CH.

But IMO, this is a must have upgrade.

I use the BCM Gunfighter, the LMT handles and the PRI combat latches all with great success. IMHO any of them is a great upgrade that will serve you well.
