| Is the trigger on their standard LPK gtg or is it worth the extra $$$ for the battle trigger? Anyone with first hand experience would be helpful... |
| I recommend the battle trigger. I've had one for a couple months and it breaks really nice and the pull is a little lighter yuan stock yet still stiff enough to be used for a defensive rifle. I can't speak for their standard trigger but I'm sure its just like any other. |

I hear some folks like the standard Spikes LPK but I know I like the Battle triggers quite a lot, I have a few. The last couple I installed Tubbs springs on and they are more improved (but probably not needed). Not everyone will like anything, triggers are the same way. |
| I'd recommend the battle trigger over standard. If I had to do all over again I would have bought a different LPK. The mag catch and mag catch spring were slightly out of spec. Other than that I like Spikes. My trigger has probably the most gritty pull out of any ar I've owned. |
| I have 3 standard kits, 2 of which are installed. And one Enhanced, the standard is a standard kit. Quality and all but nothing to write home apart. The Enhanced has a pretty sweet as trigger. Not light but not heavy. No creep or grit. The Enhanced Kit is worth the money, its not much more than the standard if you look at what all you get. |
| I have one of their standard LPKs and can't say anything bad about it... All of the parts came very well oiled. The trigger is at least as good as any other high quality lpk, but I have since upgraded to the enhanced battle trigger. Its a good starting point but I would bite the bullet and get the enhanced from the get go unless you want to have a spare trigger sitting around. |

I know this thread is a little old but does anybody know of anyone with Spike's lowers and Enhanced LPK's in stock at the moment? I picked up one from Brownells a few weeks ago, a lower w/t standard LPK. Done know if they still have any and not sure if had any enhanced LPKs. Might be worth checking out though. |

Tried to search Brownells site by manufacturer, didn't see Spike's on the list... Yep...they are out of stock. LINK Your best bet is probably going to be placing an order with spikes and just waiting, or go with something else. I think Spikes has a pretty hefty back log right now. |
