I've seen this Magpul BAD Lever being mentioned a lot.   I may even have read there was an issue with them or something on certain guns? ( I'm building a MEGA upper/lower) but I could be wrong.

But I've also seen other similar ones out there I think.

So is the Magpul the best one or is there A better one out there?

That one does look pretty sweet, I do like it.  I mean, $50, $30, its all funny money these days, who cares lol

Is that Phase 5 one of the best ones out there?  What's is made out of?  They dont seem to mention it on the website?

I was planning on getting the Mega lower with Ambi release - so I guess with one of these levers, is that model not needed?  Or would the Ambi still work fine if one of these levers were installed?

i dont think its the lower that is the problem, its certain uppers, like the DPMS LoPro that wont accept the BAD lever, with the one that I showed you it would work fine with all uppers.

that phase 5 lever would not work on (some) uppers.

I don't know about better, but here are a couple more that haven't been mentioned:

I'll probably go with that Phase 5, it  looks pretty bad ass and of metal vs plastic like the rest.

I just hope it will fit my Mega Monolithic Carbine upper when I get it.

The Magpul BAD is great. It is made of metal and fits very well and is extremely easy to install.. I have installed it on my SOG that has a 512 Eotech with the GG&G accucam mounting system, also excellent. I put the BAD on because I felt that with the Eotech mounted it was slightly in the way when attempting to "slap" the bolt release. Now I dont even have to address that issue and can drop the bolt with my trigger finger. This gets me back on target quicker after a mag. change.
