Fully Auto AR15 No, it is not a Fully Auto AR-15 as your title suggests. It is a Semi-Auto AR-15 with a bump-fire stock. |
| I guess my next question is does anyone have one? If so, how does it compare to shooting a legally registered fully auto? Since the stock gives a little bit to get that mimick bump firing, it looks like it might not be as accurate. I understand that a fully auto isn't accurate to begin with but will this make it less accurate than a fully automatic.... |

Judging by the video, it looks like the rate of fire is slower than an actual M4A1. |
| Bump firing is a technique basically designed to eat up ammo while hitting very little. No replacement for FA but those babies have gone through the roof in price in the last few years. Don't need a bump fire stock to bump fire a semi-auto. Plenty of tutorials on www. Those who master the technique have usually fired plenty of ammo. Not my thing but have and can do it. Good way to find a weak link in weapon. Kinda like adding a big NOS shot to a bone stock car. It's gonna like it but for how long. |

The slide fire works. With some practice a person can learn to be somewhat accurate with it. I can put all 30 rds on a man sized silouhette at 100 yards with it.

It's for showing off. There is no practical application. There are many practical applications for full auto bursts, but they cannot be replicated with bumpfiring. Conclusion: lame. I don't think I could take anyone with one seriously. caveat that full auto is actually a shitload of fun. Bumpfiring is comparable to oanism in this light.

There are alot of things on this site that are more than likely for "showing off". Have you shot a rifle with the slide fire? It has nothing in common with the "thumb in the belt loop trick". Does this have a practical application? Sure it does, it is alot of fun to shoot and isnt that what most of us are in it for? But I wouldnt expect you to take me seriously becasue I own one. |

I've shot an AR with one of these stocks.....and I've also shot full auto. It worked well and I found it controllable (at least a lot more so than normal bumpfiring for me). As fun as it was, I see it as a novelty, and wouldn't want it on a serious rifle.
It wasn't worth $300 to me.....I'd rather just have another thousand rounds. |

I agree 100% on it being a novelty, I would never use one on gun that my life depended on. The price on them sucks almost as bad as its appearence, but I have to applaud the manufacturer for being able to sell a $10 peice of ugly plastic for $300 or more sometimes. |
