hey guys,
i recently bought a Spikes middy, and i have been doing some shooting and at 200rds the round in the chamber didnt fire, when i ejected the casing, and inspected it the primer looked like it wasnt hit enough by the firing pin, any one have a soulution, or could it be the ammo? |
This sounds like the hammer never struck the firing pin at all! this can sometimes happen with underpower ammo and the floating firing pin will still leave a small indent in the primer. Did you try firing the round later and did it work? I would not be to alarmed unless this becomes a common occurence. Try other ammo! M4QUADRAIL

Did you stop shooting the same ammo after the malfunction? Shoot some more with the same ammo to see if the problem persists. If it does then you will obviously have some help in narrowing it down. it would only happen once in fring 60rds. i will shoot the the same ammo and see what happens, thanks for the help |
