I would like to know what brand of reciever I have?

The kind of receiver (upper, I assume) it is, where the markings you're talking about are, and whether they're raised or engraved, are all important pieces of information. Additionally, where the "D" and "K" are in relation to each other could be important.
A "D K" raised mark (on the right side of a flat-top upper, about 1/3 of the way forward from the rear) probably means Diemaco /Kaiser Aluminum-which would mean that Kaiser produced the forged blank for a Diemaco contract. Nowadays Diemaco is "Colt Canada," but there are lots of parts out there with Diemaco markings. If you can post a picture or a detailed explanation of where the marks are, raised or engraved, and so on, we can be more specific about this. |
