Midway is selling this one 16 inch includes bolt assy for 359. is this any good? it has 5 reviews that say an inch at 100. ive got a colt 6700 will it be a good fit on my lower? Hey im new to ars ok you will have to bear with me.

Depending on your money situation...you could do A LOT better with only a little more money.

Bravocompany 16" mid length

I realize that the BCM does not include the bolt, but the quality vs DPMS is well worth the extra $200. You have to research individual components. BCM MIL-B-11595E steel barrel chrome lined vs 4140 chrome lined on the DPMS. Everything about the BCM is mil-spec. I'm not saying DPMS are garbage....I'm saying that for not much more money you can get a lot more product.

For that price its GTG but its not top of the heap by any means. If your on a budget go for it and dont second guess

Its a good deal and DPMS makes a fine rifle. As an aside, I heard some BS on the errornet last week that DPMS is using foreign parts in their rifles, so what did I do? I talked with DPMS about this, the gentleman on the phone quickly assured me that they use ZERO imported parts, that all are 100% USA made and most of them are made in MN! Sometimes the web produces nothing but pure shit.

I'd skip it and get a Spike's upper. The Spikes is another $100 or so, but it includes a carbine buffer that you will need, and a better quality bolt carrier group.

AIM has them for $499.

Gotta read the add. $399 on sale for $359. With Bolt and carrier assembly. BUT no dust door, no forward assist, no ejection lump case deflector. Called a slick side upper. No flash hider either.

It's the Sportical upper. Yes it's fine, and will last you years of shooting. And that is a very good price.

I say get it and then sell the BCG for $60-$75 bucks and slap a nicer BCG in it.

I had one of those sportical uppers with a Fail Zero BCG... ran like a top.

You don't need to go as expensive as a FZ though... grab an LMT BCG and call it a day.
