Been hearing good things about them, and I am wanting to add another playmate for my SR15 E3 and LMT defender, possibly a middie. I am also looking at the BCMs. I know either way I win, but what say ye?
as a side note, why is it when I look at the Spikes symbol I see not only a spider but also a mongoose or something with long whiskers, is it designed that way? As an alibi I lurk mostly on the dark side |

I love them both. My favorite rifle right now is actually a Spike's lower with a BCM upper. Can't recommend that combo more. It depends what you want really. Spike's is going to be a bit cheaper but BCM has a lot more options as far as permanently attached muzzle devices and rail system configurations. Spike's also has a couple other calibers available whereas BCM does not. Edited to say: I'd say get a 14.5" middy with a perm battle comp from BCM with a DD Lite rail (length of your choice) if money wasn't a huge issue. That would be a sick rifle. |

I'd go with Spikes if you want to do all your own customization, but if you want to buy it in the setup you're going for, BCM might be your choice. However, I'd be sure to contact Spikes, as they will build to suit. |

I can't recommend Spikes enough. If you haven't seen their new SAR rail in person you need to. It is incredible, well worth the wait.
