I'm considering building a 6.8 spc upper. Am I correct in my understanding that as long as I have a different magazine for my ammunition, I can still use the same lower I use for my 5.56? Similarly, all the parts are the same between the 5.56 and the 6.8 with the exception of the barrel and the magazine?
Also, I'm a big fan of all my BCM parts, but they don't sell 6.8 barrels. Can anyone recommend a good source for quality 6.8 barrels? Thanks, J |

You can get a few different 6.8 barrels These aren't all of them but some that pop into my brain right away. -White Oak -Noveske -Bison Armory -ARPerformance -Wilson Combat I chose to go with the 10.5" Noveske for my SPR build and I also used a 16" from Bison for my dads build.
