| My buddy says this is great cleaning stuff. better than the Hoppes we use and does not smell as bad, is non toxic and non flammable. Company claims it cuts cleaning time in half compared to other cleaners. Any body use this stuff?? Just wondering before i drop $10 on a 4 oz bottle. |

Its a really good product and I use it in my cleaning kit along with a dedicated bore cleaner and a bottle of CLP.
I actually think it is the same thing as the Hoppes Elite that is sold in a similar sized bottle at most wal marts. That price seems a bit steep, I pay about $6-7 for a bottle at Academy Sports stores. Both mpro and hoppes elite are non toxic and have basically no smell to them and will not eat through your hands like some stuff will. One last thing about the mpro and hoppes elite.....its works 1000x better if you allow it to soak on the bcg, bore and other various areas for 10-20min. before then hitting the areas with a patch or brush. |

First time user MPro7 Cleaner and LPX oil
Been useing Break Free CLP since the mid to late 80`s on most all my weapons I also used Cheap Non Chlor Brake cleaner to spray out upper/carrier/etc! MPr0 7 Cleaner is SAFE, easy on the skin, no smell I use it to soak my CH carrier/bolt/etc! and also to spray out upper Takes off embeded carbon The LPX Gun oil smells bad and is green But it seems to clean better than my old BF CLP BTW LPX can be used as a CLP MPro7 has a copper cleaner But I think its a waste on chrome lined chamber/bore |

Let me preface this by saying that I shoot mostly SS barrels.
My department uses No 9 at the range. I usually just use that when I go down there, because it is free. However, at home, I use MPro7. It works much better at getting out stubborn carbon. I can take any one of my barrels, and scrub it with No9 until the patches come out spotless. If I then hit it with the MPro7, the patches come out looking like I had never cleaned the bore in the first place. The same goes for bolts, carriers, slides, etc. Now, this may be overkill under most circumstances. Especially with a chrome-lined barrel. However, if it weren't for the fact that the No9 is free, I wouldn't even bother with it anymore. The MPro7 just works better in all facets. |
