[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RRA Free Chrome BCG upgrade

I recently bought a RRA LAR 15 Entry Tactical with a daniel defense 9.5 FSP and while on the RR website they said they offered a free upgrade to the chromed bolt carrier group so I said sure why not and ordered it from my dealer. However while searching through vast arrays of searches I am hearing mixed reviews. My experience with an AR is extensive but a chromed BCG not so much. Considering it is done by RRA right at the factory I figure the standard issues with chrome plating should be out the window but I'd like to hear your advice on if it was a worthy choice.

I've got about 500 rounds through one I got not too long along with no problems. The only difference is you can see the carbon on the BCG, because of it being chrome.
