Ok I have a question that im sure was asked on here before but I cant find it anywhere.  I have four AR's with different barrels and makes: (1) 16" Stainless match 223 wylde, (1) bushmaster M4 Chrome lined, (1) Stag M4 16", and (1) Rock River 16" heavy barrel. None of them have markings to tell me weather or not they are chrome lined, and Im trying to tell the difference. The two Im looking at are the RR and Stag.

Anyone know how I can tell if they are lined or not?

In my experiences (and others' may be different), all of the chrome-lining I've seen has a bluish tint to the chrome. This includes chrome-lined barrels and bolt carriers. This is how I tell mine apart.

The Stag and Bushmaster are chrome-lined, they don't come any other way.  The way to easily tell is point a flash light down the bore of the Bushy and Stag (you should notice they have a nive gray color in the bore/chamber (chrome) and then look down the RRA and see if it looks the same.

EDIT:  Kinda like this:

This might help with the RRA

ETA:  And from their web page, it appears that Stag only has one 16" barrel and it is chrome lined.  And I think all Bushmasters are chrome lined too.

Thanks, that takes care of the RR, Its a Moly Mid. No chrome lining. Im just trying to figure things out, i may have to sell a few and trying to decide which ones I want to keep. the bushy currently has around 15k through it, while the others have less.
