Am I correct that a 7 inch will leave the gas block exposed on a carbine, and 9 will cover it if you have a low-pro block?
Is this similar for 9 inch with midlength, i.e. exposed gas block but a 11 inch will cover it? |

The front sight gas block is exposed, so I think you're right. |
