has anybody considered hard chroming a stock trigger assembly?

The reason I ask is that Spikes offers the battle trigger which is supposedly a stock trigger that has been nickel boron plated. Since hard chrome is used in the BCG why not in the trigger group?

ive thought about it for corrosion resistance, i mean for the sake of making sure my rifle functions when i get unfrozen in the year 3000 and have to dig it out of the ground

Don't know. I have a stainless hammer and trigger in one of mine.
